Louis Vuitton has announced global music star Lisa as its latest ambassador for the house.

The news of this appointment comes just as Lisa, who is best known for making up one-quarter of the K-pop group Blackpink, releases her new solo single, ‘Rockstar.’

”I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling,” wrote Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, in a statement announcing her new role. “She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”

In welcoming Lisa as a House Ambassador, the French luxury house celebrates a partnership of style, as well as an alignment of shared values in excellence, culture, and dedication to craft.

“I feel so honoured to be working with such a great brand that I admire”, Lisa said in an accompanying clip. “I’m really looking forward to making greater moments with Louis Vuitton.”

Lisa (born Lalisa Manobal) first shot to fame in 2016 with BLACKPINK’s meteoric rise. Since then, Lisa and her fellow group members, Rose, Jennie and Jisoo, have been a force of art and style, bridging cultural gaps to ignite an appetite for K-Pop worldwide and establishing a distinct presence on the global fashion scene. Between the numerous accolades, chart-topping hits and sartorial knack, the group has gone from strength to strength, with each member enjoying success through their own respective projects, too.

Outside of music, the Thai-born artist is set to diversify her skills once again and star in the third season of the hit HBO series, The White Lotus. This role marks her screen debut, with filming taking place in her native Thailand.
