Joey King is basking in her post-engagement bliss by showing off her fresh sparkler with fans. The 22-year-old shared the exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday by sharing a few candid snaps with her fiancé, Steven Piet, along with one close-up shot of her brand new engagement ring.
In one photo, The Kissing Booth actress shot her ring finger in the air, showing off her unique diamond designed by fine jewelry brand Mociun. The ring features a horizontal oval-shaped diamond that has marquise-cut qualities, plus an additional diamond above it, flanked by two baguette diamonds.
In the caption, King revealed Piet popped the question a month ago on February 2. “I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy,” she wrote on Instagram.
Continuing, “I never knew that a persons presence and heart could feel like a real home. I never knew love could be so unquestionably beautiful. I never knew until you. The date was 2/2/22 when you asked me to marry you and made me the luckiest lady alive. I love you more than an Instagram caption could ever do justice. Hanging out with you forever sounds like a real dream, so let’s do it.”
Piet, a producer/director who worked on the Hulu series, The Act, which starred King, shared additional photos on his Instagram that feature King posing with her ring in full view. He echoed her sentiments in a loving caption writing, “You’ve unlocked a dimension of love in me that I never knew existed.”
