This fruit is the healthiest in the world according to this study (and it’s a weight-loss ally)

In New Jersey, precisely in William Paterson University, researchers studied a list of 41 foods. Why? To find out which fruits and vegetables were the healthiest.

The results, published in the scientific magazine Preventing Chronic Disease, may surprise you!

A study on the healthiest foods

Researchers estimated the levels of fiber, nutrients, vitamins, sugar and calories in 41 foods, in order to rank the healthiest.

We won’t make you wait any longer for the answer! Green vegetables came in first place. Notably, you get watercress, bok choy and Swiss chard.

A large portion of vegetables occupy the top part of the ranking, but what’s interesting about this study is that lemon is considered the healthiest fruit of them all. Why? This fruit is high in antioxidants. Because it contains vitamin C, it can also help manage stress. Additionally, Lemons are a strong ally for weight loss and allow your body to detox.
