After taking to the streets of New York City in just a bikini, and then later experimenting with the ‘wrong shoe theory’, Emily Ratajkowski was again spotted this week, this time in denim cut-offs and with a new choppy bob and bangs.
But the new do is all for (a) show. Lena Dunham’s new show, in fact. The Girls alum’s latest project is writing and directing an upcoming Netflix series titled Too Much, a comedy which follows a heartbroken workaholic named Jessica (played by Megan Stalter) who moves from New York City to London to start afresh. And by afresh, she means living a life of solitude. But that all changes when she meets Felix (played by Will Sharpe) who is described as a walking series of red flags.
According to Variety, Ratajkowski—who is a friend of Dunham’s—will play Felix’s ex-girlfriend Polly and who is reportedly the exact opposite of Jessica. The model, actor and best-selling author was spotted filming a scene on a park bench with co-star Michael Zegan (You might recognise him from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), smiling and playing with her blunt new do.

While Ratajkowski loves a fringe, it isn’t the first time she’s experimented with a bob-and-bangs combo. Just last year, the 32-year-old attended the Marc Jacobs Spring 2023 runway show with what seemed like a Betty Boop-esque wig. Styled with slight bends and lots of texture, the finish was cool and undone. Fake or not fake, we 100 percent condone both these bob styles, and probably will add to our saved folder for inspiration.

Too Much is produced by the producers of Love Actually—and with Dunham at the helm—we have high hopes for its success.
More to come on its release.
