Daiane Sodre isn’t your average supermodel. Yes, she’s walked for iconic houses like Oscar de la Renta and Christian Siriano, and graced campaigns for Valentino, Victoria’s Secret, and Maybelline. But beneath the flawless makeup and designer threads lies a story of resilience and a deep commitment to giving back.

GRAZIA caught up with Sodre as she prepped for the Delivering Good Women of Impact Summit in NYC, for an exclusive GRWM, to give you the inside scoop on Sodre’s iconic look for the night and impactful story.

For the summit, Sodre’s glam squad, led by makeup artist Marisa Reif, opted for a fresh, natural look that complemented the earthy tones of her stunning Valentino dress and YSL heels. “I also love a natural-glowy look!” Sodre exclaims.

Her secret weapon for the perfect beauty look for the Delivering Good Women of Impact Summit was a mix of high-end magic from Valentino, Prada, YSL, and Gucci, creating a flawless canvas for the day’s impactful message.

When attending an event like the Women of Impact Summit, one must ensure their glam doesn’t fade with the day. And the key to summer glam that lasts, according to Sodre, might just be good genes (and a great foundation!).

“I guess I’m one lucky girl, because my makeup always stays on my skin pretty well,” Sodre explains. “But a good foundation is fundamental and never a bad idea in any case!”

The Brazilian beauty completed her look for the evening with Bulgari jewelry and a high ponytail, for an effortlessly elegant and nature-inspired look. “The earth tones got me thinking how much we get from the earth; and how important it is to give back,” Sodre opens up to us, bringing her ensemble full circle with the purpose of the night.

A Life Transformed, a Mission Ignited

The supermodel believes that the Women of Impact Summit is a crucial platform for connecting with business leaders and innovators who can champion Delivering Good’s cause. “I’m very positive that more and more people will support Delivering Good and help us grow stronger by bringing awareness and attention to our cause,” she says with conviction.

The organization, which distributes donated products to those in need, holds a special place in Daiane’s heart.

“I was born into a big family in a small, very poor town in the northeast of Brazil,” Daiane shared in her speech at the event. “When I say big family, I’m not kidding. I’m the youngest of 13 children. When I say poor town, I also mean that. We had nothing to speak of: no access to modern facilities, my parents had no steady income.

“Several times each month, we would walk several miles each way with my mother to carry as much water as we could to help her to meet our basic needs.”

That experience ignited a fire in Sodre. “I promised myself from a very young age that if I am ever in a position to help others, I will do everything in my power to do just that,” she explained. “I’m going to make it a life mission to give back as much as I can, however I can.”

The Delivering Good ambassador‘s story is a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact. “I’m living proof of what a little help can do to change a person’s life forever,” she declares. “I encourage each of you to get even more involved if you can. Do what you can to spread the word, share the mission, and inspire whoever you can to join the Delivering Good mission.”
