The fashion wheel has turned. Trends from Spring-Summer 2024 have reached their expiration date. A new array of trends is set to replace them this season.

Leopard print, which once ruled our wardrobes, is making way for a new pattern. As September begins, cow print is ready to establish its (animal) kingdom.

Cow Print: Why Is It the Preferred Pattern for Fall 2024?

Farewell to the leopard pattern and its feline allure, reminiscent of the most lethal mob wives. In Spring 2024, cow pattern emerges as the must-have item. This bestial comeback, softer and more rural, also stems from the craze over the Western look: featured in celebrity outfits, favored by fashionistas, and on the runways (including at Louis Vuitton by Pharrell Williams), it will also star as the key motif of Autumn-Winter 2024.

Often rendered in black or brown, this speckled pattern adds a touch of originality to our style for the upcoming season. For an effect that is even more lifelike, the print frequently appears on pony-effect leather, resulting in a highly authentic look. And while this trend might make more than a few moo, it definitely catches our eye.

How to Wear It Without Falling into Caricature?

To embrace this new trend without looking like you’ve just stepped out of a field and to stay at the peak of cool, take inspiration from seasoned fashionistas.

The key? Embrace originality: go for a sexy, unbuttoned look on an open shirt, mix and match patterns on a bag, or make a statement with bold colors or in an ultra-chic oversized format…

While the boldest fashionistas among us might dare to wear the pattern head-to-toe, the more reserved can always opt for a more subtle approach by focusing on accessories.
