“It was so daunting. You know when the fear is so big and the thing is so impossible, you’re kind of calm,” Jolie told Access Hollywood on the Golden Globes red carpet. “When I was on the stage at La Scala [in Milan], I was almost giddy because it was so beyond anything I’ve ever been comfortable doing. You’re out of you body.
“And failing Maria Callas and the people who love her really scared me.”
