Naomi Campbell is officially a doctor. The model was awarded an
honorary PhD from The University for the Creative Arts in London
yesterday, to recognize her many contributions to the fashion
industry. Never one to miss the opportunity to make a fashion
statement, Campbell styled her graduation cap and gown with a
Burberry jumpsuit and a pair of black leather boots. It all begs
the question: have you ever seen a graduate look this chic?

In a video shared on Twitter, Campbell was seen wiping away a tear
during the ceremony. During her acceptance speech the model
marveled at the fact that just the day before, she’d been
walking the runway for Balenciaga.

Campbell also shared some advice during the speech, noting her
“three Ds” for success: dedication, determination, and drive.
“Never let anyone change the way you feel, change the course of
what you and your vision and what you want for yourself,” Campbell
told the room of graduates. “Never quit.”

The graduation ceremony, held at The Royal Festival Hall in
London, was also attended by Campbell’s mother Valerie Morris, who
was proud as punch dressed in matching Burberry, of course.
