Calling all brides! We have the perfect sustainable wedding shoe for you.

Designer Alfredo Piferi of the brand Piferi, known for its curve-shaped vegan heels, is launching its fifth collection with the debut of bridal shoe styles.

Piferi’s bridal capsule features heels in ivory and white with textures of satin, tulle, and Bio Vegan Nappa, which is a derivative of vegetable oils such as GMO-free field corn, as stated on Piferi’s site.

Whether you’re a maximalist or minimalist bride, you can find exactly what you are looking for in this collection. There’s the new “soquette” style pump called the “Ginevra”, which features a lacy corseted ankle wrap. The “Upanova” is a pre-existing style, but takes on a new look as white, satin sandal. Another existing style, the “Miranda” is the perfect strappy platform sandal. The new “Maggio” design is a T-strap pump with gorgeous crystal embellishments.

The “Maggio” and “Ginerva” also come in black, while the “Maggio” additionally comes in Iris blue and fuchsia.

The collection adds a little bit of flare with each shoe, yet stays true to classic wedding attire. “I wanted to create a wedding capsule that looked sharp and not only designed as a romantic exercise,” Piferi said in a press release.

He continued, “When somebody says ‘I do’ in your shoes, you become their brand for life. To dress a bride on her wedding day is something that honours me.”

Looking to get a custom design? The brand accommodates that too. “We are executing lots of custom made bridal requests, and it is something I adore,” Piferi said. “Inviting the client to the studio, listening to their dreams, and designing something, especially for them, is a moment I cherish.”

In an effort to be as sustainable as possible, Piferi sources all of its materials locally in Milan, and the Bio Vegan Nappa leather has a 13% lighter carbon footprint, uses 44% less energy and reduces CFC emissions by 32%.

The insole of the shoe is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as it’s made up of 100% pure cellulose. While the sole of each Piferi shoe is made with a material called Thunit, which looks almost identical to leather, but is made up of 50% synthetic fiber, 40% inorganic mineral composts such as silicones and mixed clay, and 10% additives such as fastenings and pigments, as written on its website.

The different recycled compounds that make up a Piferi shoe not only makes them more durable and long lasting, it makes them easier to be recycled back into the earth. You can look your best and feel your best knowing your shoes will have a long lasting life.

The bridal capsule will drop three different collections, with the first launching on piferi.com later this month.
