One particular trend has gained traction in the clothing industry over the past several years: elevated basics. Typically, this is applied to adult clothing. Consumers are leaning more into the idea of refining basic pieces in their closet that will go with a multitude of outfits and last for years to come. More recently, this idea has been translated into baby clothes as well. Why not have several staple items that are equally cute and functional? New York City-based baby boutique LIORE’e is offering just that.

The idea for this adorable baby boutique came about when LIORE’e founder Daniella Zoharetz had a challenging time finding the perfect clothing items after the birth of her first child. She wanted something elevated and unique, yet transitional and multipurpose. So, she founded the brand in 2017 and coined what she refers to as a baby brand with a “sparkle.”

LIORE’e initially gained popularity thanks to its line of accessories, including pacifiers, pacifier clips, headbands, bow, shoes, and more. The items were adorned with embellishments like pearls and rhinestones — to give each piece the “sparkle” that Zoharetz was looking for.

Five years later, and LIORE’e has garnered more than 187,000 Instagram followers, including some notable mama’s like Cardi B. The brand is gearing up for the launch of its first-ever clothing collection in March that is geared for babies zero to 18 months. “We love our accessories, but I really wanted to provide an alternative to baby clothing that was pretty, yet designer and made from the highest quality,” explains Zoharetz. “So we are excited to finally share that with our customers!”

The clothing collection will incorporate various staples that every mama and baby needs, such as bodysuits, onesies, sleepsacks, bundlers, hats, mittens, beanies and more. The stylish items are also versatile and durable, so they will last for years to come and match well with many different outfits. Each article of clothing will be manufactured from premium Pima cotton, which has a velvety feel, yet lasts over multiple washes. The entire collection is “an alternative to baby clothing that was pretty, yet designer and made from the highest quality,” according to Zoharetz.
