We often forget that our skin possesses the intrinsic qualities of the most exquisite fabrics. Elasticity, resilience, adaptability, weightless support, and lightness without fragility. A human nature that seems sewn by the most discerning hands, and that Wolford has observed for years with the attention of a student ready to learn from the greatest of masters. In creating its designs, the brand does not limit itself to the conception of a garment, but studies the syncretic relationship between body and dress, resulting in a kind of pseudo-osmosis with the fabric. There is no seam that marks, nor pressure in the wrong places, but everything is calibrated according to the mechanics of a fashion heart that beats in rhythm with human movement. And in a reality that seems to present us with ways to hide ourselves while defying the laws of physics, Wolford ventures into an atelier of the anatomy of beauty.
Wolford Skin Module System, A Made-to-Measure Support System

Before embarking on the path of aesthetics, Wolford takes the road of substance. Its garments are in fact designed to adapt to and support specific parts of the body, creating a complete system of functional apparel. There is Second Skin Tights, a selection of tights that come into direct contact with the body and are conceived to offer maximum comfort and, precisely, a second-skin effect; there is Second Skin Bodywear, with bodysuits and underpinnings, created specifically for torso support and fit; with The Sheer System of Dressing, transparencies play a fundamental role in enhancing natural shapes, thanks to designs intended to be worn over bodywear; The Silhouette is the sensual side of female physicality, and concerns the garments that enhance the lower body and the derrière; finally, The Layer is the final, minimalist touch that, through essential cuts and lightweight textures, imposes itself as the completion of every look. A subdivision that allows us to glimpse, just as through a sheer fabric, the meticulous research the brand conducts in the genesis of its garments, investing in an architecture that enhances femininity.
The Wolford AW 2026 Collection Celebrates Femininity in Every Aspect

Then comes the moment to travel the path of visual inspiration, and for the upcoming winter season the brand does not simply walk along a predefined route, but follows every road that leads to femininity. The collection in fact explores some of the cardinal prints of womenswear, from the romantic, Pre-Raphaelite touch of florals to the more punk and sensual charge of animalier. Rose petals bloom across knit-net constructions in darker or creamier nuances, spreading also over stretch fabrics and bodysuits with a sheer-opaque finish, which exalt the more coquettish side of the feminine wardrobe and that delicate, omnipresent botanical inspiration that stands as an emblem of beauty. A garden where this bohemian flora coexists with the most intrepid of animalier motifs, with crocodile-effect faux leather and a jacquard-knitted shimmering capsule, crafted with extra-fine metallic yarn and inspired by python scales, enveloping tops and mini dresses; there are also garments made with technical and seamless fabrics, joined by a special winter merino wool with natural thermoregulating properties. Closing this microcosm of chimeric glamour could only be the festive esprit of the Holiday collection, where the woman sheds her skin and assumes the semblance of a luminous creature dressed in crystals and metallic polka dots, a precious molt whose pièce de résistance is a scintillating catsuit. Whether it is the utopian finish of a Christmas Sugar Plum Fairy or the sinuous serpentine gleam of faux leather, Wolford brings comfort and charm quite literally to the surface of the skin.
