This Sunday marked Hailey Bieber’s first Mother’s Day since the birth of her now 8-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber. Naturally, to celebrate the milestone moment, Justin Bieber pulled out all the stops with a romantic mariachi band to serenade his wife.
A video posted to the singer’s Instagram shows the two sitting at a table in what looks to be their backyard, enjoying guac, salsa and chips, when a Mariachi band suddenly appears, playing ‘Cielito Lindo’; a Mexican folk song; the title of which can be loosely translated to ‘Lovely Sweet One.’ A mariachi classic which many different performers have interpreted over the years.
Hailey can be seen in the video smiling and enjoying the performance while the band performs in front of a picturesque mountain backdrop, with morning sunlight casting a warm glow over the scene. For the intimate occasion, she wore a red printed tee with light wash denim and a pink floral claw clip in her hair.
Justin also posted a photo carousel of his wife with the caption “Best mommy day gurlie,” and an Instagram story of the band performing as the couple enjoy margaritas. On the other hand, Hailey shared previously unseen pictures from her pregnancy and more current photos of Jack Blues on her Instagram page. These included pictures of him crawling, looking out a plane window, and putting his hand in his mother’s mouth.
“I love being your mommy, Jack Blues. Happy Mother’s Day 🤍” she shared in her caption.
Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, left the comment, “Happy Mother’s Day Hailey!! You’re an amazing mom. So grateful for you. Love you,” in support of her daughter-in-law.
The Rhode founder is yet to share much about life as a mother. However, she did open up during an interview with Elle late last year.
“Welcoming my son into the world has obviously changed my whole life,” she told the outlet. “That has been the best part of the year for sure.”
