La temporada anual de premios del cine y la televisión está a punto de comenzar, y los grandes ganadores de este año empiezan a perfilarse. Los nominados a los Critics Choice Awards de este año se han dado a conocer, y entre tanto talento y tantos nominados, una cosa es segura: Netflix lidera las candidaturas.

Los ganadores de la edición 26 de los Critics Choice Awards serán anunciados el 7 de marzo a las 7 p.m., a cargo de Taye Diggs como anfitrión por tercera vez. Pero un poco antes, el 8 de febrero, se darán a conocer los detalles de esta ceremonia que, seguramente, será a puerta cerrada y transmitida por televisión.

Esta edición tiene a dos series de Netflix a la cabeza, con 6 nominaciones cada una. Hablamos de una de nuestras favoritas, The Crown, y a Ozark. Ambas series compiten por ser el Mejor Drama, mientras que Jason Bateman y Laura Linney, de Ozark, recibieron nominaciones a Mejor Actor y Actriz en una Serie Dramática, respectivamente, compitiendo directamente con sus colegas Josh O’Connor, Olivia Colman y Emma Corrin, de The Crown, que van por las estatuillas en esas mismas categorías, respectivamente. Tom Pelphrey, Julia Garner y Janet McTeer, por su parte, están nominados por sus papeles secundarios en Ozark, al igual que Tobias Menzies y Gillian Anderson para The Crown. 

En total, Netflix (en series) tiene 26 nominaciones, muy de cerca a las 24 que obtuvieron HBO y HBO Max gracias a las 5 candidaturas de Lovecraft Country, las 5 de Mrs. America, de FX, las nominaciones de What We Do in the Shadows y las 5 de Schitt’s Creek, entre otras.

Los nominados a televisión fueron anunciados el pasado enero, y ahora se reveló la lista completa con películas incluidas (sí, Netflix sigue encabezando las nomunaciones).
