Los Grammy Awards han dado a conocer las nominaciones para la celebración de 2022, siendo Jon Batiste quien lidera la lista con 11 nominaciones, seguido del triple empate entre Justin Bieber, Doja Cat y H.E.R., con 8 nominaciones cada uno, y al final Billie Eilish y Olivia Rodrigo con siete nominaciones cada una.

Este año, los nominados fueron seleccionados a través de un procedimiento diferente, definiéndose a través de un voto popular y eliminando los controvertidos “comités secretos” que habían curado las listas finales en las últimas décadas, dando como resultado algunas nominaciones inesperadas.
