Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum are set to make things official. After two years of dating and many stylish jaunts around NYC, the couple (unofficially) debuted the news of their engagement at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party, where they dressed in costumes from the cult horror flick Rosemary’s Baby. Kravitz, who went as Mia Farrow’s character, Rosemary, caught the attention of fans when she was pictured sporting a hefty diamond on her ring finger. Given that it served no connection to the 1968 film, it seemed like an engagement reveal—although the exact details of the ring were hard to make out.

Now, on a lowkey date night in Los Angeles, the actress has given us a closer look at the dazzling piece.

Enjoying an evening on the town, the couple were photographed walking arm in arm. Tatum, 43, cut a casual figure in a khaki long-sleeve T-shirt, black trousers and olive-green sneakers. But it was Kravitz’s notable look that caught our attention. The Big Little Lies star, 34, wore a silk taupe shirt under a longline black coat with wide-leg trousers. She accessorised with a diamond choker necklace and purple Mary-Jane flats and carried a Saint Laurent Mini ‘Le 5 À 7’ shoulder bag in black satin. As the duo left Giorgio Baldi, Kravitz was photographed (see pictures published by Page Six here) flashing a clearer image of her engagement ring.

A seven-carat cushion-cut rock with a gold band, the simple but sizeable piece is tipped to be worth around $835,000 (AUD).

While the couple have remained tight-lipped about their engagement, Kravitz proudly shows off her ring.

Having first met on the set of Kravitz’s upcoming directorial debut Pussy Island, the couple were reportedly “drawn” to each other and have been dating since 2021. Kravitz even praised Tatum for being her guardian while filming.

“Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever—he really was my protector, and it was really wonderful and sweet,” she shared in an interview with GQ. “I think if you can do something like that together, it’s a good test. And we came out even stronger.”

The actress was previously married to actor Karl Glusman from 2019 to 2021. The former couple had been together since 2016 before they called it quits. Tatum was famously married to his Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan for nine years until splitting in 2018, and the two share daughter Everly, 10, together.
