As the Dune press tour migrated to London at the weekend, Zendaya has expectedly gone from sartorial strength to strength. Following an appearance in Paris this September – wearing a knitted Maison Alaïa set and a ‘fro to boot – the actress made yet another incredible transformation for the 2021 London Film Festival.

Zendaya attended a photo call on Sunday with the towering London Eye providing a stunning backdrop. She swapped her usual voluminous locks for undone waves and a front fringe (petition to make this permanent?!). The look which was of course styled by Law Roach featured a chained corset and checkered midi skirt by Vivienne Westwood Spring 2020.

According to reports, the harness was made from oxidised brass and the Bogolan fabric skirt was printed with natural dye created in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative.

The actress has had a long relationship with the designer and wore a Grecian-inspired gown for the 2015 Academy Awards.

Co-star Timothée Chalamet was also in attendance at the event after he was spotted filming for the Willy Wonka prequel last week. He wore a printed blue and cream suit emblazoned with mushrooms by Stella McCartney. Other cast members who made an appearance included Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

Zendaya garnered headlines last week after she gushed over Tom Holland after keeping their relationship extremely secretive for a long time. She praised his amazing work ethic before touching on their time together.

“There are many things, obviously, that I appreciate,” Zendaya said in a recent interview. “In an actor way, I appreciate that he really loves being Spider-Man. It’s a lot of pressure—you take on the role of a superhero wherever you go. To the little kid who walks by, you are Spider-Man. I think he handled that so well.

“And seeing him at work, even though he’s not a Virgo, he is a perfectionist,” the actress added.
