Overnight the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion was aired following the final episode ever. Host Andy Cohen asked a series of burning questions, and touched on Kim Kardashian’s very public split from former husband, Kanye West. She first gushed about the 44-year-old.

“I respect him so much,” she said. “That was my friend, first and foremost, for a long time. So I can’t see that going away. I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He’s the father of my kids. He will always be family.”

In a classic PR move, Kardashian remained vague about the details behind the divorce but simply stated it was not “one specific thing,” but really just a “difference of opinion”.

“In no way I would want someone not to think I didn’t give it my all or try,” she added.

Kardashian’s other high-profile marriage was to Kris Humphries. During the reunion it was revealed that Kris Jenner encouraged Kardashian to flee from the wedding.

“What you said to me is, ‘Go. I will put you in a car. No one will find you. Just leave and I’ll take care of it,” Kardashian recalled of a conversation with her mother.

“I thought, ‘OK, we’re filming this for a TV show. If I leave, I’m going to be known as the runaway bride forever. It’s going to be a huge joke,'” Kim explained. “‘It’s just cold feet.'” She also used her entire production fee, plus Kris’ portion, to fund the wedding. “I used all our production money on the wedding,” she revealed. “I felt pressured, I felt like I was going to let everyone down.”

Now, Kardashian believes she only ever had one real marriage.

The reality star shocked fans when she officially filed for divorce from West in February 2021. Prior to the split, a source for Page Six said Kardashian “needed to end the marriage for the sake of her kids and her own sanity,” noting that, “Kim was really supportive of Kanye during his struggle with his mental health. But she knows she has to do the right thing for her kids.”
