There’s no disputing that Adidas’ Stan Smiths have been the reigning champion of the street sneaker game since their 2014 reissue, but it might be time for the shoe to watch its (signature coloured tab) back. There’s a formidable competitor circling in the form of an all-white classic Reebok trainer.
The latter brand recently tapped high profile figures with devoted followings in the worlds of fashion, music and social media to not only be spokespeople, but also partners and creative collaborators.
These include king of hip hop Kendrick Lamar, Kanye-music video star Teyana Taylor, model and influencer Jasmine Saunders, rapper Future and of course, the biggest name of all – Gigi Hadid – who’s been signed with Reebok since the beginning of its revival campaign in 2016.

Fashion’s biggest music event was not without its trainer reboot moment either. The brand’s styling suite at Coachella this year meant ex-Kardashian-Jenner stylist Monica Rose, Beyonce’s equally artistically gifted sister Solange, and actress and fitness nut Nina Dobrev all walked away rocking all-white Reeboks of their own.
And of course, actress and activist, Meghan Markle, who these days is as well known for her strong dating game as her hit role on Suits, is regularly seen in her own pair heading to and from yoga (the only time it seems the papps manage to snap her these days).

If this isn’t reason enough to jump on the bandwagon before they’re too mainstream, Reebok also offers the shoe in over 40 variants and colours. While the big names mentioned here have all stuck to the script by rocking all-white versions, there’s no reason you can’t buck the trend and stay ahead of the curve at the same time.
As for GRAZIA, we’ll have what K Dot’s having thanks.
