wesandersonadFans of film director Wes Anderson and his whimsical, witty and adorably odd movies have been pining for more since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

While the Moonrise Kingdom and The Royal Tennenbaums director’s next release is still untitled and therefore some time away, Anderson has produced a Christmas commercial for H&M in his signature quirky, heart-warming style, released today.

Starring Adrien Brody, who’s acted in Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Fantastic Mr Fox, Come Together is set in a snowy landscape on Christmas Day on a train – speaking to The Darjeeling Limited, which was set on a train, and The Grand Budapest Hotel which also had scenes on a locomotive.

The clip begins with Brody, the conductor on the H&M Winter Express announcing that they’ll be delayed by at least 11 hours, meaning the passengers witll likely miss their Christmas Day plans. But the crew conspires to bring some festive joy to the passengers, and what results is four minutes of pure delight with a heart-warming ending – and a look at some of the mega-retailer’s key pieces of the northern hemisphere winter season, of course.
