Victoria Beckham’s style over the years has changed dramatically. From very posh Spice Girl to OTT glamour-wielding WAG, Mrs Beckham has come almost 360 in her fashion sense, with a posh fashion (and beauty) empire to boot. And while she favours a polished ladylike look (with the exception of a little activewear and a few rogue trucker caps thrown into the fashion mix), Victoria Beckham today channelled a little something different: 70s bohemia.
Wearing one of her “favourite dresses” from the Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall Autumn Winter 2020 collection, the micro floral maxi dress was a subtle nod to the 70s, both floral and flouncy in delicate silk georgette with subtle pleating. Making up a collection far more bohemian in sensibility than the structure and colour-blocking of collections prior, Beckham’s free fashion spirit is a relatively new one.
But it’s not the first time she – and her family – have touted the brand’s new-era florals, wearing a floral shirt from the collection a couple of weeks back, while daughter Harper Seven wore a custom mini version of a smocked floral dress from the runway.
And of course, new daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz wore Victoria Beckham’s rose print dress to announce her engagement to Brooklyn Beckham, with her mama-in-law gushing on Instagram:
“The sweetest couple at sunset 💕 @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz, looking so amazing in the #VBPAW20 rose print dress!”
