Back in February, Victoria Beckham teased the concept of Victoria Beckham Beauty on Instagram. The Spice-Girl-cum-fashion-designer has previously worked with beauty brands like Estee Lauder on collaborative collections, but the post signified her first foray into developing a beauty brand of her own.

Now, Beckham has jumped on social media to share more news, uploading images from behind the scenes of a photoshoot connected to the soon-to-be-launched product line. There’s a shot of her wearing an undereye mask and the hashtags, “not perfect” and “clean beauty”, hinting at the direction of what’s to come. She can even be heard saying in one of the videos uploaded: “I’ve been working on this secret project for a very, very long time, and you’re going to love it.”

According to Allure, Victoria Beckham Beauty is said to be a mix of makeup, wellness, skincare, and fragrance products – all things Beckham feels she needs in her own life. She’s also teamed up with ex-Estee Lauder executive Sarah Creal as her cofounder and CEO. Proof that this isn’t just another watered-down celebrity brand, but a serious launch into the market, not dissimilar to her applauded fashion label.

Beckham is quite the skincare devotee on Instagram too, posting products she swears by often, some of which were recommended to her by Australian facialist Melanie Grant. Weleda, Cosmedix, Lancer and Augustinus Bader are among her favourites, so it’s safe to assume the upcoming line is going to include a mix of luxe staples and active treatment products.

The launch is said to be slated for 2019, so keep your eyes peeled on the beauty queen’s Instagram.
