British actress Vanessa Kirby is a woman of many accolades (philanthropist, movie star, not to mention that iconic depiction of Princess Margret in The Crown).
She’s also an ambassador and muse for Cartier – a role that’s seen her star in her first ever campaign for the La Panthère de Cartier fragrance.
Directed by Nathalie Canguilhem, the short film takes place in a lush green forest, where Kirby takes on her feline alter ego, inspired by the floral-chypre fragrance.

Conceived in 2014, La Panthère is a unique scent that takes the classic chypre composition and marries it with sensual musk and vibrant gardenia, giving it a feminine-feline duality. As per Cartier’s in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, “every woman has a feline side, and every floral has a hidden animal essence”.
Dressed in Cartier red, Kirby moves through the forest with stealth and grace – a fitting representation of the animal that’s inspired so much for the house.

Kirby was announced as an ambassador for Cartier in early 2023, lending her face to the high jewellery, watch and fragrance collections.
Known for her roles in the aforementioned The Crown, Mission Impossible and Pieces of a Woman and Kirby has been nominated for an Academy Award, Golden Globe, Emmy and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won a BAFTA in 2018. Most recently, she starred in The Son alongside Huge Jackman, Laura Dern and Anthony Hopkins.
