If you needed any further confirmation that the rumours of Kylie Jenner dating Timothee Chalamet are real, Travis Scott is here to provide it.
The rapper, who dated Jenner on and off from April 2017 – January 2023 and who shares two children, Stormi and Aire, with her, seems to have heard the news of his ex-girlfriend’s new romance, and his subtle response says it all.
Following the most recent reports of Jenner and Chalamet’s house hangout last Thursday and then taco date on Friday, as well as the fact that they were both spotted in very close proximity — though never publicly together — at Coachella, which happens to be the place Jenner and Scott’s romance first began, Scott took to Instagram to subtly showcase how he’s feeling.
On April 1st, Scott made headlines when he wrote “a beauty,” on the photo of Jenner that the Kylie Cosmetics account shared. Fans noticed this week that it appears he has gone back and deleted the flirty comment, which no longer appears on the post today.
Us Weekly reported a few days after the initial comment that Jenner and Scott weren’t back together, but that Jenner thought it was “sweet” for her ex to publicly show up for her in that way. “Kylie thought it was really sweet of Travis to show his support for her in such a public way,”they said at the time.
“Even though they’re not together, they have an amazing bond and are still best friends,” they added. “They have an open line of communication and a remarkable coparenting relationship. They’ve always made sure their kids [Stormi and Aire] know that they’re both there for them at all times and that will never change. Everybody knows that Kylie and Travis have had their ups and downs over the years, but they have deep respect and admiration for each other no matter what.”
On April 6, a different source told Us that friends could see Jenner and Scott getting back together eventually, too. “Kylie’s friends genuinely don’t believe that her and Travis are done for good,” the source said. “They’ve always had an on-and-off relationship, so this is nothing new to them. They truly feel like the love is still there and that they’ll find their way back to each other again.”
Now, however, a certain French-American indie actor may be getting in the way. A source close to Jenner told People on April 14 that Jenner and Chalamet “are hanging out and getting to know each other.”
Us Weekly noted,“Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren’t that serious. However, she’s enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go. Things are very new so it’s hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees.”
Their source added, “Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect. He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to. He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”
As for Scott? he’s likely got a bit of ground to make up if he’s going to get his girl back this time.
