When rumours of a romance between Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet first surfaced, the internet entered a state of disbelief reminiscent of our first sighting of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s rollercoaster handholding photo, or the reports that after 20-years apart Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had rekindled their relationship.
Fingers were pointed at Kris Jenner and the anonymous sources being nothing more than good PR for the Kardashian-Jenner family, but like both those uncanny and unbelievable examples above turning out to be real, it sounds like Jenner and Chalamet really are dating.
A few days ago, for the first time, a source spoke to People, one of the most reputable celebrity outlets that almost never publish anything false, confirming the French-American indie actor and the Calabasas beauty mogul “are hanging out and getting to know each other.”
This follows the TMZ report that Chalamet and Jenner went for a taco date last Friday in Santa Monica, avoiding leaving the car altogether to avoid being spotted and rather having their food delivered to the back seat. The outlet reported that Jenner was never seen, but “security kept a tight detail outside the car for about 30 minutes before they drove away.” The day prior, TMZ also reported that Jenner’s black Range Rover was seen arriving at actor’s Beverly Hills home Thursday night.
Furthermore, both Jenner and Chalamet were in the same location over the weekend: Palm Springs for weekend one of Coachella.
Jenner was spotted attending Bad Bunny’s set, alongside her sister Kendall who is dating the Puerto Rican rapper, before sharing photos of herself from the day wearing a white cropped top with jeans and a white leather jacket.
Chalamet was also seen at Bad Bunny’s set, trying to fly under the radar in a white graphic sweatshirt and baggy jeans, hiding his face under a scarf and oversized black shades. The next day, he was seen in the crowd wearing a navy cap.

The Dune actor was seen again on Sunday watching Frank Ocean’s set from the artist area to the left side of the stage, wearing a red cap and black face mask, as well as a Celine leather jacket. Jenner, too, watched Ocean from a similar location — though she wasn’t beside Chalamet, who was instead with four male friends — if her sister’s Instagram story showing the performance is anything to go by.
The reports of Jenner and Chalamet dating were first shared by DeuxMoi, which was told by its sources the pair have been seeing each other for months in private. One source claimed to DeuxMoi that they were together during Jenner’s New Year’s Eve trip to Aspen, CO. “I was with them ;),” they wrote.
“I’ve known about them since January PFW [Paris Fashion Week],” another source claimed.
As for when we’ll get an official sighting of these two? Time will only tell.
