Adding to the cart just got even better for lovers of Topshop. The UK fast-fashion retailer which brings us up to the minute runway looks minus the expensive swing tag will officially launch its own Australian online store next month.

This equates to more fashion curated specifically for our market, local editorial content and those affordable heart-stopping styles we love delivered at lightning fast speed across the country (yes the entire country).

In case you weren’t down with the latest online buzz, it’s all about the omni-channel, which basically means fusing the power of online platforms with bricks and mortar retail stores to create the ultimate consumer experience.

All Australian Topshop stores will act as a distribution centre providing greater access to products and offering shopping services such as click and collect (buy online and pick up in store), free express delivery for purchases over $75 and the option to book an in-store session with a personal stylist online.

Topshop was the first of the major international high street brands to hit our shores, opening its first retail store 2011 after discovering how popular the brand was with Aussie consumers. And its a trend that shows no sign of abating if this latest launch is anything to go by.

“We are very excited to be able to offer Australian consumers a dynamic retail experience both in-store and online with a seamless omni-channel experience,” says Deborah Papazoglu, head of e-commerce for Topshop and Topman Australia. “Our localised business mentality has always been consumer-centric and with our new e-commerce platform we have the opportunity to respond to customer demand in real-time.”
