Amid the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland and Zendaya went red carpet official with their relationship late last month. The couple have done little to hide their affection for one another and we’ve caught Holland gushing over his beautiful girlfriend live on air multiple times. At the Spider-Man premiere overnight, the actor was literally stopped mid-sentence.

Holland was speaking to a reporter from Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet when he was interrupted by a crowd of screaming fans. He stopped and turned around to watch Zendaya enter the theatre.

“I think Zendaya just showed up,” Holland said. “That sounds like Zendaya just showed up.”

After speaking with the publication, he swiftly returned to his girlfriend’s side. Zendaya paid to tribute to the film by wearing a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown emblazoned in a beaded spiderweb motif. The look was paired with a bespoke mask reminiscent to Spider-Man’s own face covering, crystal Christian Louboutin pumps and diamond jewellery by Bulgari.

Zendaya has shared her own praise for the actor. In a past interview she gushed about his work ethic.

“There are many things, obviously, that I appreciate,” Zendaya told InStyle. “In an actor way, I appreciate that he really loves being Spider-Man. It’s a lot of pressure—you take on the role of a superhero wherever you go. To the little kid who walks by, you are Spider-Man. I think he handled that so well.

“And seeing him at work, even though he’s not a Virgo, he is a perfectionist,” the actress continued.

Of the relationship she later added, “[He’s] very charismatic. [He] can make anybody feel comfortable and have a good laugh and a good chat. A good chat—I sound so British.”
