It’s not an exaggeration to say the world is watching Taylor Swift right now – there’s been daily coverage of her travels across the globe with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.
Now in Australia, the singer has used the enormous amount of attention on her for good, visiting Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane on Tuesday.
Child Health QLD tweeted a photo of Taylor meeting a patient named Sam, and thanked the 26-year-old for her surprise visit to the kids.

“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the centre wrote on their Facebook page.
“They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”
Taylor – yesterday named the world’s top earning celebrity in 2016 – is known for going above and beyond fans, recently surprising a couple who’d experienced a family tragedy by performing at their wedding.
