It seems Taylor Swift is taking her new, pink-themed rebrand on Instagram very seriously.
Over the last two months, Swift has been curating her feed through a rose-tinted lens – or thereabouts – filling her Instagram with candy-coloured images of pink tulle, mint bicycles and rainbow tiles. The whole thing is, of course, a very sweet, very saccharine easter egg hunt towards some new music which debuts on the 26th of April.
Not one to miss a PR opportunity – ever – Swift is taking the sugar-coated rebrand so seriously she has tickled herself pink – quite literally – dip-dying the bottom of her hair hot pink. Highlighter pink, in fact. Attending Gigi Hadid’s birthday in New York City overnight, Swift arrived with that classic red lip thing, cat-eye, blunt fringe and new pink-tipped ponytail.
She also celebrated Easter with the pink dye-job, collecting real life easter eggs with brother Austin in what she described as “Pre Game of Thrones Easter Egg Battles” on her Instagram story.
As the rosy cryptic cues continue to drop on her Instagram channel and the URL “aprilTwentySix.com” redirects to Swift’s website with a countdown clock (and surprise, surprise; more pink), her own pink lady transformation is perhaps the biggest – and most committed – clue yet.
