While so many readers are fascinated with the exact type of red lipstick Taylor Swift wears, these days—and more often than not—we’re seeing the “Karma” singer trade her crimson pout for one that’s a little more cinnamon-pink in shade. Cases in point: Swift’s 2024 MTV Video Music Awards appearance and the September 5 Kansas City Chiefs football game.
Fans flooded Swift’s long-time makeup artist’s Instagram page begging for the exact lip colour shade. Lorrie Turk, who also counts Reese Witherspoon and Sadie Sink as clients, finally revealed Swift’s favourite lipstick of late.
“So many people asking about this lipstick that Taylor wears all the time,” Turk wrote on her since-deleted Instagram Stories. “It’s NARS Morocco Lipstick. She’s worn it for years.”

While the lipstick is currently sold out at Mecca (it will be back in stock soon), the company do have NARS Air Matte Lip Colour in the same Morocco shade.
It was reportedly Gucci Westman who introduced Swift to red lipstick.
“I remember I was the first one to give her a red lip,” Westman said in an October 2023 interview. “It was for an Allure cover. She’d never worn a red lip.”
When Swift’s team promptly told the makeup artist “Taylor doesn’t do red,” Westman was quick to respond.
“Well, Taylor needs to try red,” she recalls saying.
As for the popstar’s exact red shade, Swift confirmed her affinity with Ruby Woo by MAC.
[I] recently discovered Ruby Woo by MAC, which I think everyone knows is a staple,” she told Teen Vogue in a 2015 interview. “I was the last person to discover it.”
