Another day, another celebrity wearing Jacquemus. Taking the stage at a Fenty Beauty event in Seoul, South Korea, this time it was Rihanna, who opted for a slouchy white summer suit from the designer’s forthcoming Spring Summer 2020 collection which has all but confirmed the white suit’s veracity in fashion right now.
Since a young Bianca Jagger stormed through the streets in a sharp-shouldered white suit in the seventies, our preoccupation with snowy suiting has been steadfast, forever a marker of chic.
Fast forward to today, and Rihanna’s iteration is equally as charming; gloriously oversized, relaxed through the leg and accented with large pocket detailing, the suit was one of many non-binary pieces the designer displayed in his first unisex collection. Jacquemus Spring Summer 2020 has been much hyped since it debuted amongst the rolling lavender fields in Provence back in July, with celebrities including Kourtney Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner all sporting its coveted mannish suits.
As for Rihanna, she paired hers with a white pump, lacy bra and punchy orange-red lip, which, if we were to make an educated guess, we think is Fenty Beauty’s Stunna Lip Paint in Unattached.
