When Sydney Sweeney‘s Euphoria character Cassie ran through her manic 4AM skincare routine on screen recently, Sweeney embodied the spirit of a skincare obsessive with suspicious accuracy. From the tools to the technique, the scene felt as if it came naturally to Sweeney – which, as it turns out, was because it mimicked her own skincare routine.

In a TikTok video shared to HBO’s account, the actress admits Cassie’s routine was essentially a send-up of her personal regimen. “Do you wanna know something that’s really funny? Most of those tools during Cassie’s 4AM manic routine I brought from my own house, because that is my manic routine,” she reveals in the video.

“So I’m like, ‘I’m just gonna bring a bin to set that day, and I’ll play with all the tools, and you tell me if you like it or not. And it was crazy, it was a lot of fun,” she laughed.

So besides the many skincare devices we saw Sweeney use as Cassie, what are the actual skincare products that she uses each day? Thankfully, she recently detailed her entire routine from start to finish in a video, with a focus on clearing and calming her sensitive, breakout-prone skin.

She begins by mixing a cleanser – Avéne’s Cleanance Cleansing Gel ($24.95) – with Caudalie’s Deep Cleansing Exfoliator ($47) for a thorough clean that the White Lotus star swears by for keeping her makeup from separating. “If I don’t mix an exfoliant with a gel cleanser, my skin doesn’t let makeup sit on my face,” she explains.

Sweeney then applies a layer of The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 ($12.90) for protection and hydration, followed by the beauty world’s cult favourite brightening serum, SkinCeuticals’ C E Ferulic Vitamin C Serum ($228).

Next up is eye cream, followed by another wildly popular French pharmacy buy, the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre ($35.99) to moisturise. “It is one of the only creams that I found that helps my skin keep makeup in place,” says Sweeney. “I actually like using a quite, like a nice, generous dab [of it].”

The star’s final steps include SPF (of course) – EltaMD’s UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 ($57) because it “doesn’t break me out” – and a classic lip balm from Burt’s Bees, the Beeswax Lip Balm ($6.99). “I literally have one of these in every single purse,” Sweeney says.

Adding it all to cart, immediately.
