The likes of Megan Fox, Khloé Kardashian and Adele all know the internet hysteria a single diamond ring on that finger can cause. Whether it is a perfectly executed PR move or something else, Sydney Sweeney has become the next star to be swept up in engagement rumours.
In a single image obtained by E! News, Sweeney was photographed this week with boyfriend Jonathan Davino in Los Angeles when eagle-eyed fans notice that the Euphoria star was wearing a large diamond on her ring finger. Neither Sweeney or Davino have addressed the speculation nor confirmed the news.
Little is known about the romance between the actress, 24, and her restauranteur partner, 37, other than that they’ve been dating for about four years. In fact, they’ve rarely been photographed together at official outings expect at one 2018 event for Kate Spade as seen above. The (potentially) exciting news comes off the back of the season two finale of Euphoria this week where Sweeney is known for playing Cassie.
The young actress has been extremely vocal during the airing of the HBO series this season. In a recent interview she discussed the double standards of nudity in Hollywood which she continues to grapple with through her roles.
Speaking about her 2021 film, she said, “When I saw The Voyeurs for the first time, I wondered if I’d done too much. I researched celebrities who have done nude scenes, trying to make myself feel better.”
“There are hour-long compilations of world-famous male actors with nude scenes who win Oscars and get praised for that work,” she continued. “But the moment a woman does it, it degrades them. They’re not actresses. They just take off their tops so they can get a role.”
