The Best Street Style From Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2022
Before the week draws to a close we look back at style moments beyond the runway

This week, Afterpay Australian Fashion Week descended into Carriageworks and across the city for the highly-anticipated presentation of resort collections across the local industry. Guests were fuelled by Vittoria coffee, mini martinis and canapés as editors, buyers, photographers and influencers braved a deluge of wet weather.
While designers presented resort collections for a (hopefully) more sunny season come this December, it was off the runway where the very best autumn ensembles came to play. Sydney has become internationally renowned for a more laidback approach to style however as the rain and cold set in for a sartorially hazardous week, some of the city’s most stylish opted for crisp tailoring and safe footwear (read: no sky high heels). For the more bold dressers among us, colour clashing was a welcomed addition to the moody backdrop.
