We know you’ve heard of Victoria Beckham Beauty, the style icon and fashion designer’s highly anticipated clean makeup and skincare line. The brand officially launched in September 2019 with the essentials to recreate the former Spice Girl’s signature smoky eye. Now, the collection is complete with just about everything one could need in their beauty arsenal.
Beckham’s most recent launch is a second lipstick line, named Posh — her iconic Spice Girls nickname. The buttery, moisturising lipstick launched on October 3, and it’s inspired by Beckham’s longtime quest to find the perfect nude, as well as her “lifelong journey of self-discovery.”
In a letter to her followers on September 30, the founder explained why the lipstick launch means so much to her. “Lipstick has always given me confidence when I needed it and extra spice when I already had it,” she wrote. “Each shade is inspired by a specific memory, and whilst the moments may have been my own, the energy and emotion is shared by us all.”
To give her 28.8 million Instagram followers more details about the lipstick, she went live on IGTV with makeup artist Nikki Wolff on Monday, November 16. Despite Europe’s lockdown, the mom of four still brought her fashion and beauty A-game for the virtual conversation, donning a black midi dress from her Fall-Winter 2020 fashion collection, her new favourite mauve lipstick, and dark red nail polish.
The lipstick collection comprises nine versatile shades, including eight neutrals and one red named “Pop.” Wolff recommends applying it with your finger and pressing it into your lip for a more subtle flush of colour. This is also ideal for those who want to cut back on lipstick transfer caused by wearing a protective face mask.
Besides her newest lipstick line, Beckham admits that she’s obsessed with her Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser for the way it instantly makes skin look more radiant. But the best part is that it’s been clinically proven to improves the appearance of skin over time with the help of clean active ingredients. “I use it as a primer underneath my makeup, but I also use it throughout the day to touch up my makeup on the centre of my nose, on the top of my cheeks, on my eyelids,” says Beckham during the IGTV video. “Today, I’ve even got it here on my collarbone and on my chest.”
As for eye makeup, her go-to product is Lid Lustre, which is so easy to apply, that her daughter Harper Beckham has already perfected the application process.
