Everything Swarovski’s global creative director Giovanna Engelbert touches turns to crystal. As we push publish on this story, Sabrina Carpenter has just hit the stage at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in a custom strapless mini jumpsuit with 100,000 Swarovski Crystals. In July, Ariana Grande was announced as the house’s brand ambassador. And who could forget Engelbert’s crystal-clad supermodel brigade at the Met Gala in May?

Yes, Swarovski is on the zeitgeist like never before and, while it has your attention, the brand pushes its history of expertise in crystal cutting to the fore with its Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Here, Engelbert plays with form, deconstructing and reshaping pieces in unexpected ways to create arresting new additions to the Millenia, Matrix and Hyperbola families.

Continuing to build upon the marine inspiration which anchored the Spring/Summer 2024 collections, Engelbert showcases unique stone cuts in the Sublima family and Swarovski Crystal Pearls are added to certain pieces—like a set of Millenia earrings—for the ultimate expression of elegance.

Below are a few pieces we love from Swarovski’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, and which appear in GRAZIA’s 19th print issue Kaleidoscope. Order your copy here.

Designed to captivate, this unique knotted pendant made from crystal pearls and zirconia crystals is as elegant and sensual as it is organically wearable. A piece able to enhance the decadence of luxury high-fashion as impressively as it contrasts the casual and cool.

Shaped to sit bold and impressive, this zirconia crystal and crystal pearl-laced cuff reflects the organic contours of ocean life. With pavé stones placed in the curvature of a delicate marine creature, it uses volume and detail to make a spectacular statement.

Rhodium plated octagon-cut crystals constructed in a Deco-style tower, these earrings create extra drama with its vibrant shade of diaphanous blue. Additionally, each crystal is crafted from a portion of the Swarovski ReCreated initiative, making them not only dazzling but the most sustainable to-date.

A showstopper, this square-cut necklace is rhodium plated and placed with crystals both square and pear-cut. Using varying, contrasting sizes and an asymmetrical scarf-style pendant, it creates exceptional design desirability as well as an effortless classical elegance.
