Irina Shayk’s Instagram feed is an aspirational paradise full of luxury fashion campaigns, breathtaking runway moments, and selfies so perfect, they look professional. Naturally, there’s a lot to be jealous about, but her latest post is something we can all recreate at home: an organised and chic fragrance station.
On Wednesday, November 11, the supermodel posted a mirror selfie for her 14.3 million Instagram followers wearing a cropped T-shirt from Jesse Jo Stark, itty-bitty shorts from Chrome Hearts, and a pair of Ugg Classic Mini II Boots in Chestnut. While she and her outfit are obviously a focal point, we’re particularly enamoured with the Russia native’s perfume display.
Posing with one leg up on her vanity, Shayk gave fans a look at her wooden serving tray with leather straps displaying her favourite fragrances. Her perfumes include (but aren’t limited to) scents by Jean Paul Gaultier, Victoria’s Secret, and Carolina Herrera.
The model has professional ties to her Victoria’s Secret and Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances, so it’s refreshing to see that she loves to use them in real life. Shayk became the face of the fashion designer’s new Scandal a Paris fragrance in 2019, starring in a sexy campaign film in which she makes quite an entrance wearing an oversized black blazer with a matching bra peeking out underneath.
“When I smelled Scandal, it reminded me of something. I was born and raised in a small village, and we has a garden with two pear trees,” Shayk said in an interview, referencing the perfume’s fusion of pear, jasmine, and honey. “I’m attached to this perfume because it brings back memories from the childhood. I can imagine those pear trees, I remember the smell.”
Proving that she knows how to keep busy, Shayk also stars in the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Gold fragrance campaign, the brand’s newest perfume, launched in line with the upcoming holiday season. It’s a warm perfect-for-winter scent comprised of sweet, floral notes of lychee, peony, and vanilla.
