Rouge Hermès — a product devoted to the beauty of lips — was the first makeup product launched by Hermès back in 2020. Inspired by the brand’s rich history, the lipstick (or objet d’art, as it is endearingly referred) comes in 24 permanent shades across matte, satin and high shine finishes — all of which are inspired by textures of Hermès leather.

But outside of the core collection, the French house also releases three limited shades per season — and spring summer 2022 is inspired by “an artist’s garden celebrate the harmony between the sky, the sun, and the shimmering water of an early spring morning.”

The three shades — Beige d’Eau, Orange Capucine and Rose Nymphéa — all boast a fresh new finish that’s light on pigment but heavy on sheen. Housed in lacquered cases designed by Pierre Hardy and with a custom scent by in-house perfumer Christine Nagel, the limited trio is less of an everyday makeup item, and more a forever beauty keepsake.
