If there were a secondary Grand Slam running adjacent to the on-the-court action at the Australian Open–one which saw luxuriates battle it out to be the official outfitter of the tournament’s staff—make no mistake, Ralph Lauren would take it in three straight sets, every time.

Indeed, that’s basically what has happened with the house returning to the AO to outfit 4000 staff (including all on-the-court officials, ball girls and boys, and on-site persons) for a fourth consecutive year, and a stylish follow-up to the brand’s talked-about NYFW week show in Brooklyn last month.

The brand has also designed a new series of commemorative towels for the AO24, available exclusively from October 12 at ralphlauren.com.au. Underscored by Ralph Lauren’s commitment to sustainability, both the uniforms and towels have been created with recycled polyester and with moisture-wicking properties and UV protection, a potent and essential fusion for active play in the Australian sun.

But the part that you will love the most? A full AO24 capsule collection of apparel and accessories will be released across Ralph Lauren stores and online from November. With classic pieces playing on both the heritage of the house, and nodding to the tennis-core trend of the past couple of seasons—think polo shorts, jackets, headwear and classic striped cable knits to be flung over your shoulders—you’ll look like one of the trendier ones plucked from the stands of Wimbledon. And if you’re lucky enough to attend the AO in Melbourne in January, a customisation pop-up will be available where you can have your name or initials embroidered onto an RL classic. For those watching the tournament at home, you can participate online.
