In case you missed it, Bridgerton star (and Pete Davidson‘s main squeeze) Phoebe Dynevor has had a hair transformation. The actor, who rose to fame playing Daphne Bridgerton, has farewelled her character’s signature soft auburn to a new unmistakably fiery red hue.

Dynevor’s colourist, Mads-Sune Lund, took the star from her formerly muted shade to a striking copper, while stylist Nicholas Hardwick cut a sweeping curtain fringe and some relaxed layers into her locks. The end result is a high octane version of Dynevor’s original aesthetic, albeit better befitting a burgeoning Hollywood darling.

Spiced maple shades have been hot property recently, so it’s little wonder that Dynevor left her appointment at upscale London salon Josh Wood Colour with the haute hue. Model and new mama Gigi Hadid was the first to sport the stunning ginger shade, revealing her freshly dyed locks for the Versace show several months back.

At the time, Hadid cited another Netflix hit, The Queen’s Gambit, as her reference for the new look. Her little sister Bella even got in on the sizzling shade, adding some warm mahogany highlights to her brunette locks in the weeks after her sister went red.

Dynevor, to her part, seems to be enjoying her new hair, if Hardwick’s Instagram Reel of the star’s new look is any indication. She’s seen shaking her tresses in a mesmerising slow-motion video of the transformation, and it’s honestly enough to warrant us all a hair appointment, ASAP.

Dynevor has been busy fanning the proverbial flames of her rumoured relationship with Davidson. Eagle-eyed social media onlookers observed that the pair were seen wearing matching ‘PD’ necklaces during recent appearances, but since they share the same initials, it’s yet to be confirmed.

Davidson did reveal that he was currently with his ‘celebrity crush’, so obviously it’s gotta be our girl Daphne.
