Pete Davidson doesn’t seem to be faring as well as his ex-fiancé Ariana Grande.

The Saturday Night Live star has cancelled a stand-up comedy gig at a US university citing “personal reasons”, the New York Post reports.

It’s the second event he’s scratched since their split – he also took a raincheck on a gig he was due to perform just days after the break-up, also at a university.

Grande, for her part, is moving onwards and upwards – at least according to her Instagram account. Despite announcing she was going to take a social media hiatus, the God Is A Woman singer has been sharing plenty of content on her Instagram account, includes posts revealing she’s been back in the recording studio.

It’s hard to imagine a better way for Ariana to mend her broken heart.

Pete and Ariana split this month after getting engaged in June, just weeks after they began officially dating. It’s understood their relationship became strained after Grande’s ex-boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller, died of an accidental drug overdose.
