It’s official: Pamela Anderson‘s 90s beauty looks are a social media phenomenon. After the success of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy series earlier this year, our fascination with the star’s iconic hair and makeup aesthetic has reached fever pitch.

TikTok creators have been recreating Anderson’s hyper-glam looks with a host of videos that capture her infamously razor-thin brows, her contrasting lipliner and lipstick and her smouldering smokey eye.

But now attention has turned towards Anderson’s stacked ‘Pammy updo’, which the star wore regularly throughout the 90s. On TikTok, the hashtag #pamelaandersonhair has racked up more than 7.8 million views, as creators emulate her tumbling high bun.

The memorable look has even hit the rest of Hollywood in recent weeks, with the likes of Cardi B posting an image to her Instagram rocking a strikingly similar hair look.

Kim Kardashian has also been seemingly taking some inspiration from the former Playboy model, as the reality star demonstrated in her recent appearance on Ellen.

Anderson’s hair look is characterised by a high messy updo, with long curls left loose around the face for a soft, understated take on evening hair.

Imperfection is key, as Anderson’s updo features haphazard pieces as tendrils about the face, but you can also make the ‘Pammy updo’ more polished, as evidenced by Kardashian’s take.
