It’s playful, sensual and empowering – and everything you’d expect from a Paco Rabanne fragrance. This month, the luxury perfumer will release a new feminine fragrance titled ‘FAME’ into the market, a 90 percent natural origin-scent combining notes of airy jasmine, succulent mango and addictive incense.

American film and television star Elle Fanning has been tapped by Paco Rabanne as the ambassador for this new foray. Fanning rose to fame as an iconic child actor and by the time she was 21, became the youngest ever juror in Cannes Film Festival history. This combined with her ability to bring any character to life – most recently in The Girl from Plainville and The Great – makes her one of this generation’s most exciting young talents.

The 24-year-old joins a long list of glamorous muses for Paco Rabanne. Think the likes of Jane Fonda, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Fransçoise Hardy.

“I am thrilled to be an ambassador of a brand as iconic as Paco Rabanne. I was completely taken by the concept, and felt like it was a perfect fit and really reflects my personality. Being part of this new chapter was an immediate yes!” Elle Fanning said.

“Multifaceted and multitalented, Elle Fanning couldn’t be a better choice as the face of FAME”, Paco Rabanne Vice President Jérôme Leloup added. “She embodies the very essence of Paco Rabanne’s ultramodern femininity, and we are very happy to have her as the ambassador for our new fragrance.”

The refillable fragrance is finished in a luxurious bottle reprising the fashion house’s iconic iridescent chainmail dress. It’s unmissable.

FAME Eau De Parfum will launch into David Jones and Myer from September 4.
