If ever there was an example of effortless pop princess glamour, surely the award goes to Olivia Rodrigo. The singer arrived on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards 2022 – and also scooped up an actual award for Best International Song – in a shimmering silver Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown.
The stunning dress featured a subtle cowl at the neckline, with definition at the songstress’ waist and an open back with criss-crossing shimmering straps. The disco ball fabric fell almost to the floor, where the asymmetrical hem created an elegant tiered effect.
The hair and makeup held true to the Good 4 U singer’s youthful style, with hairstylist Clayton Hawkins parting her long brunette tresses down the middle and leaving the lengths in loose, uncontrived waves.
For the makeup, Rebekah Lidstone opted to tie the look in with Rodrigo’s glimmering ensemble. The skin was kept fresh with a luminous base and soft, apricot blush, allowing all the focus to fall on her eye makeup – steely shimmering eyeshadow, big lashes and sharp winged liner – and mauve lipstick with a glossy sheen.
Coupled with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti patent wedge sandals and Eera jewels, Rodrigo has well and truly cemented her place as a burgeoning red carpet star.
