Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are just over five weeks into being parents, but already the baby jokes have started coming in thick and fast. But it’s not the professional comedian trying his hand at his first round of dad jokes, as you’d expect, rather the laughs are coming from Munn.

Following Mulaney (and later Munn) sharing the first photos of their son publicly on Christmas Eve, today, the actress gave fans a look at their family home life, sharing two photos of Mulaney holding their infant son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, who was born on November 24th, to Instagram.

In the first image, Mulaney is shown playfully putting Malcolm in a bun steamer, on top of which Munn wrote, “Lol, daddy’s new báhn bao recipe.” In the second, closer up, photo, Munn wrote, “adora-bao.” By the looks of things, Munn was practising making bao buns with her mother—traditional filled Vietnamese buns—ahead of a New Year’s Eve dinner, for which she enlisted the help of her boys. “Mom’s practising her báhn bao for New Year’s dinner and wanted to show it off,” she wrote over another image that showed Malcolm’s grandmother in the kitchen.

The posts come following Mulaney writing that he is “very in love” with his son earlier this week, writing, “Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays.”

Mulaney confirmed he and Munn were expecting their first child together on Late Night with Seth Meyers in September after months of rumours about their relationship following his split from his wife Anne Marie Tendler.

“I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible,” he said at the time. “And we’re having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news!”
