Model and former GRAZIA cover star Olivia Culpo married her long-time love, NFL star player Christian McCaffrey, in a little coastal chapel in her home state of Rhode Island on June 29.
For her wedding day, Culpo, 32, wore a custom long-sleeved gown and a nearly-five-metre-long veil by Dolce & Gabbana, citing it was the “first, last and only wedding dress I ever tried on.”
“I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” Culpo told Vogue. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me.”
“When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I’m most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered and elegant,” she continued.

Culpo and the San Francisco 49ers player, 28, sparked romance rumours in 2019 despite the model vowing to never date athletes again. Her breakup with former footballer boyfriend Danny Amendola turned messy after he was reportedly spotted getting “too close” to other women.
“[Christian’s] just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for,” Culpo told Entertainment Tonight in 2022. “So, I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense, because there is a reputation there.”
“[Christian] comes from a great family. We have a lot in common, in that respect,” she added. “I feel like you can really tell who a person is by the people that raise them.”
Culpo and McCaffrey announced their engagement in April 2023, sharing a photo of the proposal (which happened in Utah) and her engagement ring—a large oval diamond and epaulette side stones.
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but apparently word travels fast,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I’m marrying my best friend, I love you so much, fiancé.”
Cuplo wore a long white, off-the-shoulder dress by Australian designer Rebecca Vallance to her bridal shower. The couple then got a private jet to Rhode Island ahead of the nuptials.
