One day after celebrating her birthday, Naomi Campbell casually decided to use her first day aged 52 to shut down the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
For the premiere of Decision to Leave — a South Korean mystery film directed by Park Chan-wook — on Monday, May 23, the supermodel donned a showstopping plunging black Valentino Couture gown which was covered from top-to-toe with feathered embellishments.
The front of the gown was held up by two feathered straps across the breasts, which made a plunging effect down the front, giving the look some serious sex appeal. The full skirt, as well as the white silk bow ties holding the straps together at the shoulders and flowing down the back, offset the skin, adding elegance and romance.
Campbell accessorised her dress with a thick silver-chained necklace with a large blue gemstone across her chest. She wore her hair down her back, parted in the middle, and styled sleek and straight. On her feet, she wore a pair of patent black pumps to match her gown.
For her beauty look, Campbell emphasized the romanticism and feminity of her gown with long eyelashes, purple eyeshadow, and a pink lip. She wore matching nude pink nails. If perfection was a photo:
Though she looked as fresh and beautiful as ever, the night before Campbell likely got little sleep as she celebrated her birthday with a celebrity-filled party in Cannes. Models such as Sara Sampaio, Natasha Poly and Georgia Fowler were seen walking into the venue dressed in their party best, alongside musician Ricky Martin also seen entering the event.
If 52 when tired and potentially hungover looks this good, bring it on.
