Call it the Versace effect, but there’s no such thing as too much out-there bling this season – the bigger, the golder and cross-referenced the better.

That’s why GRAZIA (along with the likes of Nadia Fairfax, Jesinta Campbell and Brooke Testoni) has gone ga-ga for Australian designer Samantha Lowe’s brand VALÉRE, which uses a 24k gold micron plating technique over sterling silver or brass to make her all-gold-look chunky jewellery affordable for the masses.

And we all know a lower price point means we can layer on so much more. For example, the best way to wear these pieces is layered on all at once – a la Gianni Versace styling a Linda Evangelista runway look in the early ‘90s.

How appropriate then is that this necklace style is called the Donatella? A coincidence? There’s no such thing in the realms of high fashion.
