It might not be Spring, but Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens are currently in full bloom with the opening of the Miss Dior Millefiori Garden pop-up.
Taking place on the iconic Bennelong Lawn, with its panoramic harbour views, the event will be a first for the House of Dior on Australia shores (and a much-welcome slice of in-person luxury after two years spent online shopping).

Designed to afford visitors a comprehensive olfactive experience, the pop-up aims to share the storied history of Miss Dior — the first ever fine fragrance produced by the house. Christian Dior famously wanted to bottle up the “smell of love” and so launched the fragrance in the 1947 in line with his highly publicised ‘New Look’ collection. The name was inspired by his sister Catherine, whom was affectionally referred to as Miss Dior as she would enter her brother’s atelier in Paris.

Miss Dior itself is a “millefiori” of lily of the valley, peony, Grasse-grown rose and powdery iris. Defined not by a single flower but instead a blooming bouquet, it’s a scent that embodies joy, femininity and the feeling one experiences when swathed in a frothy Dior Haute Couture gown (at least, we can dream).
At the pop up, guests are invited to experience the Miss Dior fragrance family, alongside complimentary bespoke Miss Dior floral bouquets, complimentary bottle engraving, a Dior makeup experience and education around the making of such an iconic fine fragrance.
The Miss Dior Millefiori Garden Pop-Up will take place on the Bennelong Lawn at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney (entry via 14 Macquarie Street), running daily from 9.00am until 7.00pm. General Admission will be available from Friday 18 March – Sunday 20 March 2022, with booking reservations available via www.missdiorpopupsydney.com.au.
