While everyone was busy swooning over Kendrick Lamar‘s bootcut Celine jeans at the 2025 Superbowl, another style icon was approving the controversial silhouette further North. Attending the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada, alongside her husband, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has been serving up her Cali-Chic take on winter dressing.

Most notably, on day two of the tournament, Markle attended a wheelchair basketball match between the USA and Nigeria. She wore indigo-wash jeans by Veronica Beard in a bootcut that harked back to the late 2000s. She paired the denim with a navy blue knit sweater by La Ligne and a light grey tweed jacket from Dôen.

She kept things casual with minimal accessories and black, heeled boots by Stuart Weitzman.

Later that day, she tossed a navy Hermès down jacket over the top.

The day before, at the opening ceremony, the royal looked regal in an ivory Sentaler coat with contrasting buttons and a grey knit layered underneath.

She styled the look with beige patent Aquazzura pumps and her signature Cartier jewels.

Founded by Prince Harry in 2014 when he was joint patron of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, the Invictus Games is an international competition that brings together wounded, injured and sick armed forces personnel.

In 2023, the couple scored producer credits on the documentary The Heart of Invictus, which explores the origins and meaning behind the event under their company, Archewell Productions.

This year marks the second time the games have been held in Canada—a place close to the couple’s hearts.
