Barbie star Margot Robbie is reliving the “worst hangover” of her life. Speaking with co-star America Ferrera in a funny interview with LADBible, the 33-year-old Australian actress recounted how she accidentally mistook vodka for a glass of water.

“I woke up…and I only had two Advil… it was like gold dust,” she began. “I immediately went to take it, grabbed the glass next to the bed, and it was straight vodka!

“I was like, ‘What to do? Do I swallow the vodka because then I get the Advil? Or do I spit it all out?’

“I ended up drinking it.”

Admitting the concoction “did nothing” for her sore head, Robbie did detail that her gateway drink on a hangover is a shandy. (For non-Australians, that’s half beer, half Sprite.)

In the same interview, Robbie said her favourite shot was not vodka or tequila but in fact a Jägerbomb or a “Wet Pu**y”—the Australian slang name for a shot consisting of vodka, peach snaps, cranberry juice and a squeeze of lime.

“In Australia…it’s the most delicious shot, no one is mad about having a Wet Pu**y shot… you can have like 10 of them!” laughed Robbie.

“It was extremely awkward when I first ordered one in America, though,” she added. “I just yelled the words ‘Wet Pu**y’ across the bar!

“The bar went silent and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess that’s not a drink here.”

In a hilarious, now-resurfaced interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Robbie told readers her seemingly sure-fire cure for such hangovers.

“I know a good one, you get Berocca, Dioralyte, and an Aspirin and put it all in a cup and that’s the magic potion, that will fix you right up,” Robbie said.

“And then if you can, jump in an ocean, then you’re totally sorted. And a full English breakfast.”

During its opening week, Barbie has, according to Variety, raked in USD$182 million (AUD$270 million) at the international box office. This gives director Greta Gerwig the record for the biggest opening ever for a film directed by a woman. Comparatively, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer attracted USD$93.7 million (AUD$139.1 million).

Despite admitting to enjoying an alcoholic beverage, Robbie clearly lives a balanced lifestyle as displayed by her physical ability to beat the entire Barbie cast at a plank challenge.
